Halo 3: Submitted Screen of the Week

There are a lot of interesting Halo 3 screens online and via XBL. Recently one of our writers asked readers to submit their own Halo 3 screenshots of some of the funny, cool or impossible moves that have occurred while they were playing.
This week, the submission came from Chris ‘n00dles0up” Sams, and since I do not play Halo 3 and cannot explain what the heck is happening in this shot, I will let him do it instead:
“Basically I snipped someone in a gun turret on the top of an Elephant, and as I was showing a friend I noticed his head stretch backwards, I don’t know how common this is, and I certainly haven’t noticed it before. “

Well, actually this is quite common. Sometimes there are strange moments when unexplainable body glitches happen. things ranging from twisted bodies, or where it looks as if bodes are falling over and over again on the map after the person has died. It’s not that Halo is flawed, so all you haters shut it. It’s just that the only thing that I’ve noticed can cause it is extreme lag for the most part. However sometimes it can happen when too much is happening on the screen. (like too many explosions can cause the game to freeze up from trying to render numerous explosions) I’ve even seen where there can be very tiny Spartans on the screen. It usually always happens after the person dies though. So it in no way affects gameplay, but it sure as heck looks funny!
I find this screen fascinating, considering i was the friend who noticed it, however as chris has failed to mention was also the friend who first made this shot with my sniper, and then in the video noticed what I had done, however unwittingly i did this on chris’ profile, and when it was saved it went to him lol
i found billions of these from my in game footage. whenever a player is splattered or launched by an explosion at a fair distance. when he hits the ground hard this happens. it happens pretty much everytime you get splattered. it just happens so fast its almost impossible to notice unless you go frame by frame in the theatre
