Halo 3 Soundtrack to be Released Next Month

halosoundtrack1 1 Halo 3 Soundtrack to be Released Next MonthSumthing Else Music has announced they will be releasing the Halo 3 Original Soundtrack next month. The 2 CD set will hit store shelves and be available through digital download on November 20th. The soundtrack will feature original compositions from Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori, the award-wining composers for the previous two games. Aside from new songs created specifically for Halo 3, the audio set will also contain new arrangements of the songs recorded with a full orchestra and chorus.     I am all over this. The first three soundtracks are some of the only CDs I’ve ever bought. I just love Halo music; what can I say.

    I think Halo is without doubt the best game music. If Nintendo used an orchestra in full masse for Zelda, I think those two would be able to tussle it out, but at the mo, hell, it’s on Halo.

    Being a Music Lover (and I mean that, I listen to every type of music), it may come as a shock to you when I confess that I do not enjoy the Halo sound tracks.

    The score I think, is mediocre.

    That’s interesting. Why don’t you think so weclock? Personally, I think it fits the feel of the game rather well; has a sense of almost-epicness fit for a one-man army, whilst having that right…I dunno, zing I guess, to fit in with the future. Obviously, I respect your reasons for it, just curious as to why you don’t.
