Halo 3 Figures Packaged and Ready to Go

Remember those Halo 3 action figures that MacFarlane has been teasing us with for the past few months? Looks like they’re pretty much all ready to hit store shelves now. The figures won’t be available until March, but for now you can get a sneak peak at the packaging you’ll be struggling to rip open soon. The toy line will include Master Chief, Cortana, a few Grunts, a Brute, a Jackal, and a handful of different colored Spartans. Just remember there’s only one month left until you’ll have all the figures you’ll need for your epic stop-motion feature, “A Halo Tale: Master Chief Goes West.”

What’s worse than a 40 year old guy who lives in his moms basement and plays Halo 3?
A 40 year old guy who lives in his moms basement and plays with Halo 3 figurines.
And if that isn’t the intended market, then who do you think these toys were manufactured for? kids?
Kids shouldn’t even know what halo 3 is…
There’s nothing wrong with old people buying Halo figures. I’m 30 and plan to buy a few. And I don’t live in my mom’s basement.
I’m 36 and I do play in a basement, my own. On a 110 inch projector screen with surround sound. In a riverfront house. I already own 1 figurine, have bought several figurines and gave them out as a prize at one of our weekly LAN parties. None of the adults present seemed insulted. In fact, they seemed happy, and the competition was a little fiercer that night to qualify for winning one. Plus they’re pretty sweet to have on your desk at work. The 7 inch tall Master Chief figurine with shotgun looks mighty fine on top of the beer fridge and microwave I have in my game room.
Why does this upset you weclock ? You’re right about kids not playing as it’s a mature rated game, but my 4 year old son recognizes the MC because he’s seen him on my computer often enough in a non-gameplay kind of way.
So what’s wrong with this ? Am I supposed to stop playing videogames because I’m too old ? That’s the same attitude the screaming tweens on XBox live tend to share. I’ll stop when you pry the controller from my cold dead hands (to paraphrase).
I can’t stand the attitude of those tweens on XBL that think you shouldn’t play games when you are 30 or older. Hell.. most of them will still be playing games at 30..hopefully they grow up some though. I don’t recall being as immature as these kids are these days.
well i do not own the 360 or halo i still play video games in my rooms and i live with my mother but sir im 15 ive played the halo games from numba 1 to 3 on legendary now that ive gotten that outa the way every game should have an online mute back o track mcfarlane does some cool shit im not gettin them tho my bro will tho hes a big toy collector and just to sort this out hes 29 got a wife and son and does go to work
hahaha, I’m not picking on you guys, I’m picking on people who specifically live in their parents basement..
that’s cool then
Im 44 and have played videogames since I was a teenager. While I am not the huge gamer I used to be, I beat Halo 3 the 1st weekend and still enjoy fragging on XBL. I will always play games, they are part of my generations culture. To us, they are as common as TV was to our parents. Its just another form of entertainment.
Oh, and for the record, I play in the basement, my own, on a 62 inch tv with Bose surround.
Ah yes, the joys of adulthood and being able to afford all of our big boy toys. Maybe that’s why all those tweens are screaming. They’re just jealous that their dad’s aren’t half as cool.
I’m 30 and I still game like a mad man…..
Yes.. I understand that the majority of gamers are actually 30+..
It’s those that living in their parents basements.. those are the sad sapps.
Hey, guys, I’m 15, and I play Halo 1-3, and i love em all. What’s wrong with a few action figures. Nothing. I’d love to wake up to good ol’ arby standing on my nightstand staring me in the face. He’s probably my favorite.
I dont think halo games are only for adults.(Im 11 and have beaten Halo 3 on Legendary and played some halo Combat Evolved) I mean older people arent the only people allowed to pwn noobs on a daily basis right?
