Halo 3Well, the Halo 3 beta is now in the wild. People all over are playing away. Well, except for those who purchased Crackdown to get into the beta. For some reason, Crackdown players are being prevented from downloading the beta.

Bungie is aware of the issue, as evidenced by Frankie’s post this morning on Bungie.net today. “We have alerted the appropriate Live authorities and they are taking care of the problem as we speak. With any luck this will be a short delay. People entering the Beta through other methods – Friends and Family, Rule of Three and so on, are unaffected.”

Well, I have to wonder how many people are up in arms over this. With the hype surrounding the beta, I’ll be surprised if the internet doesn’t explode with their fury by the end of the day.
