Halo 3 Battle Rifle Test

The above video has been around for a while, but I think a lot of Halo 3 players could still learn from it. If you are like myself, you have probably noticed that your ability to make accurate head shots has slacked off from Halo 2 to Halo 3. Apparently, they have seriously changed how aiming works. The above video demonstrates that with the battle rifle, you must aim for the lower section of the head and include the upper chest in your sites to be more effective with the “BR”. Some people may complain, but I certainly feel that Halo 3 is a far more realistic experience where recoil has a lot to do with how accurate you are.
Unfortunately, Halo 3 has been far from perfect. Halo 2 really wore thin on me because I simply became tired of glitchers and cheaters. Spawn killing is also something Halo 2 was too full of. If Bungie could only fix the spawning in Halo 3 and fix the sniper rifle accuracy, it would be a complete game.
Thanks for the link ’somewhat!

Both kills were exactly the same. What’s the point of this video…
Wait, there isn’t one.
The first took five bursts, the second took four.
Iku Tri is correct, but I didn’t expect the frustrated Jim to get that, even if he did actually watch the whole clip. Just a little something to help Halo 3 players with an answer as to why some people seemed better with a BR than others. I know it will make a difference for me, as the aiming point is no longer the same as in Halo 2 (which is how I continued to aim in halo 3).
@Jim. both kills were not the same at all. The aiming point has changed and the first kill took more shots. In Halo 2, it would have been the opposite.
Also, since I changed my aiming in Halo 3, I have noticed my K/D ratio drastically improve over the past couple of weeks.
