Halo 3 Available On ebay

It’s a real shock that copies of Halo 3 have started to surface on ebay. Not! What once started as a friendly site for trading Pez dispensers has become a virtual black market. I’d be curious to find out how many stolen goods and pirated materials are actually peddled through the site on a daily basis.
The particular auction I discovered is out of Australia. The seller has 2 unopened copies to sell.
This is the real thing. I have 2 copies to sell (unopened) Australian copies.
Its not released until the 25th of September so be one of the first in the world to play it!
If you have any questions or requests about the game please ask.
Instead of beating down the doors of mod chip rings, perhaps federal and international police operations should start focusing on the crime taking place daily on ebay. If I can find these auctions, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a hard task for a team of investigators. The ethics behind selling something like this are definitely questionable. I do not think selling games is a huge issue, but when someone publicly sells them with total disregard for consequences, something should be done.
The auction is located HERE.

So you’re saying that the government should “crack down” on some schmuck with two illegal copies of a game?
Doing so would waste more money than any two copies of a video game ever could.
No. Don’t be stupid.
I think he’s saying that they should crack down on all people getting a hold of illegal copies…shouldn’t be that hard if the idiots poster themselves on ebay.
I think ebay in general needs to be more regulated. They may not be able to go after each seller, but there are some who make tons of money selling stolen or pirated games.
I wasn’t so harsh on these kinds of operations in the past, but I see how they are driving the costs up for everyone else.
Heh. All sorts of opportunity for MS/Bungie to be evil:
- See customer log on to Live with Halo 3 retail in the drive.
- Grab Live ID and console serial.
- Ban both for until year 2999.
- Hilarity ensues.
Of course that won’t stop the offline play. And since I assume Bungie developed Halo 3 without some stupid online activation, it’s a safe assumption there too. Then again, MS could be tracking what we put into our 360. That’s a whole ‘nother can of worms there.
Looks like eBay did do something about it. The auction link in this article is now invalid.
Lol
maybe enough game sites exposed the auction that it got some real attention.
ha ha ha loser loser water sucks it real real sucks
