Halo 3 And Metroid Advertised At Target For US$30

Mistakes happen in advertising all the time, but consumers definitely have the right to take up the company on their mistaken prices. The above banner appeared on the Target website for a very brief amount of time, but long enough for many, many people to notice. If anyone out there is willing to take the time to make several phone calls to their customer service, you may be able to actually get it at the $30 price. It’s a real technicality, considering the correct price was also listed on the site, but false advertising is false advertising. Legally, the advertised price must be honored. If anyone has success with their customer service, definitely leave a comment here. Various reports on the incident state that Target has been denying existence of the banner to some and honoring the deal to others.
