Half-Life 2 Episode 2 Release Date Confirmed; October 9

Finally! The Half-Life 2 gods are shining upon us today my friends. Valve has confirmed with Shacknews that we will indeed get to experience the next episode of Half-Life 2 within this year. October 9, 2007 to be exact. Not only that, but we’ll also finally be able to play the mind bending puzzler ‘Portal’ as well as relive the good old days when we used to play round after round of a little map called ‘2Fort’ in Team Fortress 2.
This is great news because it was rumored the game was going to be pushed back beyond a 2007 release, so I’m glad to see we’ll be getting this game before Winter. So make sure to mark your “Hang In There Kitty” calendars. And remember, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box will be the only package available at retail since ’slimmer’ Black Box was cancelled last month.
About damm time! Can’t wait to fight ‘em hunters!!!
good, episode 1 was a bit dissapointing and felt empty in comparison to hl2.
Cant wait for half life ep1. hope its not gona be as short… but i dont care if it is or not otherwise.

Compared to whats out there… episode 1 was rocking / of course nothing near the original half life 2, but I guarantee the new one will be incredible
