Gundam Online Role-Playing Game to Close at Year’s End

According to Gunota Headlines, Japan’s Bandai Namco Games announced on June 15 that its UniversalCentury.net Gundam Online massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG) will go offline on December 15 at 10:00 a.m. JT. The game launched on September 29, 2005. From this October 1 until the end, gameplay will be free, but new accounts will no longer be registered in that time. Bandai Namco had not finalized plans to localize this recreation of the first Gundam story’s One Year War into other languages.
