Guitar Hero Rocks the 80’s Website Launched, More Titles Added

“Ricky was a young boy, he had a heart of stone, worked nine-to-five and he worked his FINGERS TO THE BO-OH-OWN!” ……. Sorry…got lost in some nostalgia there… The excitement over the new 80’s expansion for Guitar Hero is getting out of control. We have posted not one, but two articles already on new track editions. This makes number three, and we will post more whenever they provide us with more juicy tidbits.

Guitar Hero has launched the 80’s section of the website and added some more titles- all in preparation for the day you rock your butt off in your living room. Here are the newly added titles:

• Balls to the Walls by Accept (Why?)
• Only a Lad by Oingo Boingo (Again, Why?)
• The Warrior by Scandal (another one of my Halloween blunders)

Not too happy with the additions personally. If they are going to add crap to the playlist, they could have picked a more famous batch of crap. Why not include some Winger, Culture Club, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Wham!, or better yet Hewey Lewis and the News? To call this a Guitar Hero game, they need to throw in some more rockin’ tunes. Give us some AC/DC, W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden, KISS, Van Freakin’ Halen, or some Dokken – give us In the Still of the Night by Whitesnake. That had some awesome riffs in it. Makes me want to roll around on the hood of a Jaguar every time I hear it – of course I would use any excuse to roll around on the hood of a Jaguar.
