Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s – Get Ready to Rock

Women in turn, will be dusting off that bottle of Aqua Net from the back of their bathroom closets, sporting electric-blue eyeliner, and pulling out their old concert t-shirts. Well, at least my household will be doing this – and the reason? Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s hit stores today, and Guitar Hero fans around the country will be riffing and head banging to Iron Maiden and Judas Priest for hours.

Available exclusively for the PS2, RedOctane and Activsion have given people who survived the 80’s, and fans of the Guitar Hero phenomenon the content they have been craving. With unlockable guitars and the intense gameplay modes that we have become accustomed to, Guitar Hero Encore also features retro rock venues and “hipster” characters.

Available exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s takes fans back to an era where neon was radical, fanny packs were in, and spandex was never tight enough.

Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s features visually stunning retro rock venues and hipster characters, unlockable guitars, and intense game play modes. The totally stellar soundtrack includes songs by artists such as Flock of Seagulls, Twisted Sister and Judas Priest. With additional songs as made famous by The Go Go’s, Poison, Iron Maiden and Quiet Riot, fans can grab a bottle of ultra-hold hairspray, tighten their headbands, and rock all the way back to the ’80s.
