Those who thought that downloadable content support for Guitar Hero 2 was dropped were apparently wrong – the Xbox 360 version of the game has received some new DLC in the form of the Indie Label Pack.

The DLC pack will cost the standard 500 Microsoft Points ($6.25) and includes “State of Massachusetts” by Dropkick Murphys, “You Should Be Ashamed of Myself” by The Bled, and “Memories of the Grove” by Maylene & The Sons of Disaster. I would’ve preferred “Shippin’ Up To Boston,” but Dropkick Murphys is Dropkick Murphys.

There’s an accompanying trailer to show off what the songs are like before you drop the Microsoft Points on them. I’m kind of wondering why an indie pack costs as much as any other DLC for the game – it doesn’t seem exactly right, does it?
