You may have heard awhile back about how several “Wanted” posters for GTA IV protagonist Niko began appearing throughout some parts of New York City. Well, now it looks like the viral marketing has ramped up even more. Over the weekend, reader Nick sent us word that some graffiti had also appeared in one area simply showing Niko in full color. There’s nothing that clearly marks it as having anything to do with Rockstar or GTA, but it’s too uncanny a resemblance to be just a coincidence. And there’s now a huge mural of Niko’s “Wanted” poster on the side of a building in Manhattan. Man, I’m not even in New York, but I’m already excited about this game.

Thanks to Nick for the heads up!

that first one is in the east village, and the second one is in chinatown. there used to be a GTAIV ad depicting a woman there. they took it down and replaced it with that one.
