And the viral marketing has begun. Apparently, several “Wanted” posters have been spotted in New York bearing the face of GTA IV protagonist, Niko Bellic. The poster, issued by the Liberty City Police Department, warns that Bellic is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and suggests that he be shot on sight. Something tells me this won’t be the last of the game’s viral marketing before it sees release.

thats cool
im gonna ask my sister to snag one of those.
Hopefully no one in the area looks like Niko lmao.
I wonder how many calls the NYPD will get about this from people not fully reading the poster
I really can see New Yorkers who don’t know abou GTA going nuts after seeing these WANTED posters. All of New York was basically told via news outlets they were going to film portions of “I Am Legend” on a particular night. Explosions, gunfire, & helicopters could be heard in certain parts of the city and they were told not to freak. And what happened? 911 was still flooded with phone calls mentioning the very things they were told not to freak about.
So yea… poor New York… this will most likely not end as well as most people might think.
Cut the bottom off of the poster and so many people will freak hahah
I feel bad if there’s anyone out there that resembles him. He might get some weird looks.
