hot coffee Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Banned Overseas, but Still AvailableBuying Grand Theft Auto in a country like the United Arab Emirates is scandalous. Ever since that forbidden cup of coffee, the game has been banned.

But somehow the game still makes its way into gamers’ hands.

Apparently, retailers in that country still sell them, though under the counter. I wonder if there’s a certain look that you have to give, like you don’t say anything but it’s a look that says, “I know that you know what I want, but you know that I know that I can’t say what I want, so how about I give you 300 dihrams and we can make this happen?” Yeah, that’s scandalous.

But according to the article in GulfNews, psychologists suggest that it’s not so much the regulation of the state that should be of concern, it’s the regulation of the parents over their children’s habits. Keeping a close eye on what your kids play will do more than any regulatory agency ever could.

Not bad advice.
