Grand Theft Auto IV: A Body in the Trunk?

Hey, what’s that sticking out of the trunk of that car? Is that…. is that an arm? Maybe. According to Official Xbox Magazine, while playing the GTA IV demo, an information prompt came up on the screen when they came upon a parked car in the game. This prompt told the player to press the “LB” button to open the trunk of the car. This option has never been available in a GTA game to date, and the general consensus is that you can either put weapons in it, or *GASP! * a body! Rockstar North is keeping their lips zipped regarding this feature, and until they divulge more info we can only speculate on what the many uses of a car trunk in GTA could be – sounds creepy, but fun.

Sandor you are a dick, this is an amazing feature I cant wait.
This is a small feature add on. You can already store weapons in the trunk on the game Scarface. If you could open the hood and pull out sparkplugs that would be cool. If they want it more interactive you should be able to lock your doors, turn on/off headlights, bust out windows, hotwire cars, etc.
Tim, Its a known fact that Hotwiring Cars IS going to be in the game, SO
Locking doors is also to be in the game.
i hope you can put people in the trunk, just pull over, get out, and put a random pedestrian in there, and then drive around listening to the guy yell, ” let me out, please”, and then drive the car in the harbour, or blow it up, lol

hells yea this is gonna be good, been waiting for this day for a looooong time, ever since GTA 3 came out, i knew something would eventually be brewed up to pure awesomeness.

i wonder how many weapons you can hold and/or if the guns just appear in ur hands when u switch weapons like the other games cuz thats just gonna look weird since the game looks so real

i noticed in the trailer child a boy i think it will be funny to abduct him and then give him money for the ice cream van shoot an rpg at the ice cream van and then hold the boy ransom and then push him over and trip him up…. i have a sick sense of humour

Im looking forward to putting characters in the game in the trunk (alive) then do a few jumps before driving the car into the river. sweet!

The trunk idea is awesome but i hope you can do drive-by with any gun like a pistol for example. to me that would make it more realistic. Still this game is going to be amazing.
I personaly am just gona take a person put um in my trunk, drive to junk yard, let vicktome out, act like hill live then lock back in trunk and crush the car with him in. HHAHHAHAHAH LOVE THIS FEATURE

You could also imagine it being a movie, just by looking at how realistic it is. The story line is outstanding, the features are through the roof .. All I can say is it’s going to be #1 game for a long time.
You should be able to turn on and off your lights, so that you can sneak up on your cousin in a dark alley with them off, get behind him, and turn them on. Enjoy the trails of urine and faeces he leaves behind.

Ya i think we should lock sandor in the trunk pull out a gun start shootin the trunk then dump it and let someone steal it and u call the cops and tell them that there is a body in a red BMW if thats not enough we all go with AK-47’s and shoot the gas tank.
tbh I can see a reason for this as you can’t really carry anything round in GTA games, unless IV is different

Wow im stoked for this game to come out in April, and i also heard that you cant just steal a car like in the other games theres not a car thats unlocked and the keys just happened to be in them
but you have break the window of the car with either your elbow or you kick it and unlock the door and hotwire the car. 
And you can switch your gun when your in the car, such as it doesnt have to be an automatic it can be a pistol and basically whatever gun you want.

hmm i heard that there is no pay’n’spray like in GTA SA u have to change cars in an ally or someplace where the cops can’t see you; I also heard that the AI of the cops is better, now instead of just following u they set a perimeter when u get a star, and u have to get out of the perimeter or else…. BUSTED
can’t wait to play it. it looks sweet pluz just got it pre ordered the other day

i cant wait to kidnap kids and take them out ….shoot them in the foot (so they will not die) then throw them back in and drive off into a river but right wen its in water get out and blow it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
