Should have sit behind the kids so you can kick their seats to make them stop doing that I mean thats just plain rude kids ruining the movies I REALLY HATE that!! But still worth to see the movie =)

theaters suck. last time i went i had the full program: laster pointers, phone ringing, people talking on phones, kids who weren’t even allowed to see the movie were in and threw popcorn at the people below them, the feet of the man behind me in my backseat always bumping me.

and for that i pay 11 euro + 10 euro for popcorn and cola? no, thank you!

No offense meant, but this is not a good idea. I would not go see a movie out of a fear (and I use that term lightly here because I know that is not what you are talking about) of Hollywood not being my friend anymore. The fact is that I go to movies a lot less not because of the films (though as you point out, a lot really suck) but because the experience is so off putting:
- People talking
- Phones ringing
- People talking on the phones
- Other peoples children or babies
- Commercials
- etc

In addition, they are too expensive. Why can I rent a film for 5 bucks to see it in the comfort of my home, on my home theater, with my friends, eating my chosen food and drinks, but in a theater I pay 10+ to get in, more for food and drinks and then have to deal with a bunch of random people?

I do enjoy the theater experience, but it takes a mature crowd that knows how to watch a film, which is rare these days. Don’t even get me started on the commercials.

Thanks for the thoughtful post, I’m disagreeing with your idea, but appreciate you putting it forward.
