The students at IT University of Copenhagen have found a new and exciting way to use the Wiimote. While US politicians and Media are having hysterics over 45 second sex scenes that could be easily found in a PG-13 movie; a new party game created for the 2008 Nordic Game Jam has players exploring taboos and finding the rhythm of love in the dark. This game is most definitely Not Safe For Work.
The Dark Room Sex Game is the love child of a co-ed, multi-national team of students. It’s a multi-player, erotic rhythm game that is played completely with audio and haptic cues using the Wiimote or a keyboard. The slender, vibrating Wiimote becomes a very phallic tool as players try to find a rhythm with their partner and work towards their release. In orgy mode, things get swinging as pairs compete to reach the climax of the game first.
There are several videos on the game, the most affective of which are played in darkness. The best of the lot is probably the Live Performance with the Alpha version. Once again, while there are no visuals to worry about, the audio is NSFW.
