The Global Gaming League has announced that registration is now open for a 4v4 Call of Duty 4 tournament. Participants will have a chance to win a 32″ 720p LCD HDTV, a digital 5.1 channel home theater system, and several DVDs for each member of the winning team. The tournament will take place on the Xbox 360 and PS3, but you can only sign up for one system. The competition will be judged on a point-based ladder system, where players will compete in matches and then report their score to earn points. Currently, there are practice ladders up for people to form teams and get used to the system. On Dec. 10, the ladders will reset to begin the competition. Players will have until Jan. 13 to make it into the top 64, which will move on to the final competition. For official rules and instructions for signing up, you can check out this website.

And the PC players get shafted again….. Damn sham, all the best gamers on are on PC’s anyway
True dat!
Console players/teams would have no chance to win if PC players were allowed, considering mouse/keyboard is a far superior FPS control scheme, making PC players roughly 2-3 times faster and more accurate just because of the control scheme.
wow… I can’t believe this, first the CPL goes and now they put COD4 on console even though COD started on PC wow… amazing move GGL…
Well think about it like this you have 2 to 3 times better aim on a mouse and keyboard so that would mkae it 2 to 3 times harder to master the aim in this game thanks i apreciate the idea that its easier for you to play so it takes less skill to use that version is what your saying needless its to simple to use mkaing it to easy why dont you come on and battle or us or is someone talkng
Pc gamers are the best, call of duty 4 for xbox 360 is crap ! we have true skil and you know it
Uh, why don’t we just have a pc only tournament..
good question. why wont they make one?
why not just buy the sniper for the xbox 360 hook up your crap and play thats what I did. Its not as accurate as computer play because of the delay or what not in the controller for xbox but the auto aim helps once you use it for a couple weeks grows on ya, if your used to mouse and keyboard this will work fine I own all the crappy players as bad as I would if they were on a computer with good graphics of xbox 360 and no lag most of the time. Brother is just as good with controller though so I dont think there is any real advantage. Just an idea.
