Gizmodo’s Must Have Gadgets of Futurama

In preparation for the new Futurama movie, Bender’s Big Score, which hits shelves tomorrow, Gizmodo has a list of the cool and horrific Futurama gadgets they would love have or give them nightmares. The more memorable gadgets are present and accounted for including; the Cryogenic Tube, the Suicide Booth, the What If Machine and Bender himself.
Personally, I think Robot Santa (as a don’t want obviously) should be on this list as well, but you can’t have everything.

Funny stuff, too bad the movie sucks.
You kidding me?! The movie rocked like much! Far better than several The Simpsons Movie put together.
However, it’s a shame we don’t have anything like this…*stares at Hypnotoad* “All hail the Hypnotoad!” *synchronised clapping*
I wasn’t even aware that Futurama had come out with a movie at all. And I consider myself a fan. Was this a US only thing ?

Fox have the publishing rights to the 4 straight-to-DVD films which are being released with the start of this one. Later next year, Comedy Central has the rights to the 4 films, which will then be cut-up and extended into a 16 episode season 5 on Comedy Central. From what I’ve learnt about the situation, the season should be better as it has additional content, then again, this film’s DVD has a 22 minute feature of “The Amazing HYPNOTOAD”…which is sufficed to say, priceless.
I don’t know when Europe will get any of this, but I can hardly wait.
Futurama had its moments and this is a great list. But it wasn’t ever better then The Simpson’s nor will it ever be.
