Get on Stage! Gameloft’s Guitar Legend Goes Mobile

Have you ever need to break loose with some crazy guitar riffs while you’re out and about town? Too weak to carry Guitar Hero and a complete mobile 360 rig with you in public to sate your addiction? Soon you’ll be able to play guitar god anywhere. Gameloft is giving people one more way to make fools of themselves in public with their mobile phones.
Earth.com has the scoop on the worldwide premier of Gameloft’s Guitar Legend: Get On Stage!, the first guitar simulation video game for the mobile market.
Get On Stage! plays like Guitar Hero as the player hits phone keys in time with the rhythm of a song to produce familiar melodies. Selections include classics like “Smoke on the Water” and “Message in a Bottle” as well as more recent hits like “Banquet”. The game also allows players to string medleys together to create their own unique hits. Without any actually musical knowledge or skill, players can feel like they are playing guitar.
“Our talented team of sound designers worked very hard to make sure the music featured in this game sounds flawless,” said Gonzague de Vallois, Gameloft’s Vice President of Publishing. “After testing the game on over 1,000 different kinds of mobile phones, we are confident consumers will enjoy the experience.”
Players can embark on their own personal rock tour with Guitar Legend: Get on Stage! August 1.
