I do know that the plastic on some non Sony HDMI cables is too big and it prevents the cable from connecting properly on some Sony sets. I have a 46" Sony HDTV in the main room and I'd probably never buy another one. It's such a pain in the ass to hook-up any non-Sony HDMI devices. I even gave up on trying to hook up my 360 via HDMI. I have another 50 " JVC in the basement and 2 small televisions in the house and all of them you just plug in the HDMI and it works with no problems. I dunno.. the Bravia is a great TV.. it just sucks hooking things up to it and getting them to actually work. I've never had that problem with other brands. I’ll tell you.. If it were available in a 57-60" I would have one right now.
