Geometry Wars: Galaxies Not Delayed in US

People have been confused about whether or not Geometry Wars: Galaxies has been delayed until next year after the European version was delayed. We’ve gotten word from Vivendi that this doesn’t impact the North American release date of November 20 and 27 for the Wii and DS, respectively.
Galaxies went gold on November 6 and will be on store shelves on the aforementioned dates unless the UPS truck breaks down en route. Galaxies is looking like it’ll actually be pretty good and not a full priced version of a game we’ve been playing on Xbox Live Arcade for two years. The Wii version is priced at $40 and the DS version at $30.
Galaxies for the Wii is one of the first games to link to the DS to use GameShare, which will allow you to download a full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved on DS. Sounds good to me.
I really want this game, but $40 seems high. $29.99 seems like the most it should be to me. I would have been really happy with it as a wii-ware title.
