@Serio .. Pc gaming is not dying. Pc gaming is just to god damn confusing for the general idiot and you know it as well as I do that the system reqs thing can get really bloody confusing.

Cliff is playing with fire, and it’s only because of the community he hasn’t been burnt yet! Even though i’m a PC gamer(i do own a 360), i agree with him. It’s too late to do anything about piracy, so why even bother with PC Games anymore? Heck, they even spare a few coins on consoles since they only need to test it on one spec, not a wide range of specs.

I agree that a rising population of gamers can be a good thing, I, being a gamer since a very young age, find it rather annoying, and even infuriating in some cases, when things we gamers and internet geeks take pride in are demeaned or given less meaning when used by these *gasp* noobs. I walk around town and hear kids say “epic fail” and I throw up a little in my mouth. These kids have probably never even heard of 4chan, they just look at the lolrus and Rick Astley on YouTube and think that the machinima “The Leet World” truly is 1337. Ha! As if. I’ll play Call of Duty 4 and when I utterly destroy this new generation, they’ll tell me I have no life, when I barely play games on weekdays, or call me a noob. I originally thought it was clever when Jeremy called T-bag a noob in PurePwnage, but recently I’ve been legitimately insulted when one of these new meatbags calls me a noob. I might be screwed up, but I guess the anonymity of the internet plus a kid who thinks he’ll be popular and cool for gaming equals a complete asshole. I don’t mind a larger population that understands gaming more, but please don’t ruin it for me.

I also agree. The next generation of gamers makes up for the stupid old fucks who don’t get it, like Jack Thompson. I’m 22 and my 16 year old brother is better than me. He’s been gaming since he was 10. Not Mature rated games since then, but he plays them now. He’s mature enough. And he’s really good. Not just at shit like Pokemon, but Halo 3, Gears, Bioshock, Mass Effect. His collection is better than mine. So he’s not casual, but he started that way.
