GC: New Halo 3 Clip Surfaces

This new Halo 3 clip has surfaced out of GC in Germany and has a lot of people talking. I think this clip really shows us how Halo 3 is going to be highly focused on intense combat action. Being the final battle of sorts, it’s obvious that everything needed to be elevated, and it looks like Bungie set out to do just that. Will Halo 3 be what evolved combat was always supposed to be? We’ll all find out for certain in September, but so far everything looks like it’s leaning in that direction. The most anticipated video game in history has a lot of expectations to live up to. In about 4 weeks, you’ll get to decide for yourself.

Wow that looked intense, I think it was a followup of the real footage they showed at e3 this year.

…or it could be the next installment of the live action Halo Short movies they're making. Seeing as the Halo movie got canned, but they decided to do an ongoing series for xbox live making live action short movies using the same director who was signed on to film the movie.
Not to mention they already released one live action halo movie segment on live that showed the production of the upcoming war where you see warthogs being built and and USMC getting there gear.
just a thought…

John,
You could be right. I really have no specifics on the clip to go off of. I'm still surprised the studios didn't go for a huge Halo 3 movie. I bet they still try to make a major motion picture in the future, but it could be too late.

and another juicy tidbit of mass media marketing content flys to us by way of 'leak'…
hey… something's in the works for the 'halo' movie… go knows what… but i'd say… bungie has big plans for halo… even if this is the last game they make…
