GC: Microsoft Reveals New Partner and Products for Games for Windows

Microsoft Corp. has added Ubisoft to it’s list of allies and now enjoys the support of most of the top game publishers around the world. Ubisoft rounds out Microsoft’s publishing partners that include powerhouses such as 2K Games, Activision Inc., Atari Inc., EA Partners, LucasArts, Microsoft Game Studios, Midway Home Entertainment Inc., and SEGA.
Ubisoft will be bringing The Settlers: Rise of an Empire to Games for Windows. Microsoft also announced that Train Simulator 2 from Microsoft Game Studios will join more than 60 titles lined up for the Games for Windows brand. Train Simulator 2 is described as the most realistic train simulation experience ever from Microsoft. Train enthusiasts can explore the world’s established rail network or build their own in a detailed and immersive virtual world.
Microsoft Hardware has brought back the popular SideWinder line to its gaming accessories and will be featuring the first SideWinder mouse.
