I rate this game an 8/10. Yes, the breathing is annoying, but once you build your character’s physical training up, the heavy breathing goes away. I agree that the single player is very boring, but I think the single player was only put into the game to give your character’s stats a boost before going into multiplayer. Believe me, you do not want to go into multiplayer with low stats for obvious reasons. The reason most people don’t like this game is because they are used to having perfect aim at the beginning of the game and being able to do everything the more experienced players get to do at the beginning of the game like in COD4. Also, AA is more realistic than Ghost recon or COD. REALLY THOUGH PEOPLE GAVE THIS GAME A BAD REVIEW BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY REQUIRES YOU TO EMPLOY TACTICS AND USE YOUR BRAIN IN MULTIPLAYER. THIS GAME WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE COMPARED TO MORE MAINSTREAM TITLES. IT WAS MEANT FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WANT A TACTICAL MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE AS OPPOSED TO PEoPLE RUNNING BY THEIR TEAM AND GETTING SLAUGHTERED JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT THE MOST KILLS.

I like the game. To me it is much better than Graw2. The multi-player modes and replay value are second to none. If you like tactical shooters based on realism that is, IE: not magically leaning around impossible corners and seeing through walls like GRAW/RS. Most people who play these games realize AA is the successor to the other two games. It proves itself more than worthy, once you get beyond the politics, which is why I believe the negative reviews stem from. Too bad none of these things will keep the game’s popularity from reaching a massive level as it is now proving to do. And yes, comparing this game to COD4 is like comparing COD4 to RS or GRAW, you cant, they are different genres.

It’s simple as this: America’s Army the Game is propaganda. By making real-life scenarios into a game entices people to join the army for real, and be apart of the ‘game’.

Yeah, I played the multiplayer demo on Xbox Live for about five minutes and decided it was terrible. Even just the constant huffing and puffing of my character as he ran got on my nerves, especially since it sounded like a looped 1-second clip. I’m surprised you made it that far through the single player. And yeah, it’s sad that Tom Clancy can do a better army game than the actual freakin’ army.

YES, I dont like “Americas Army” so send the troops home. the old Xbox version the same. Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six are better.
