Gotta agree with you, basically. I think a lot of people see Beta’s as a chance to play the game earlier and then complain with errors. The ignorance of some people is truly shocking. I think of them more as a lite-demo, so missing out is more annoying than disappointing.

To be honest though, I hardly get demo’s anymore. Maybe it’s because fewer seem to be releasing any and even then ones I’ve cared about, but I think I’m just a little more cautious to buy games that I know I’ll like.
