GameTap Update Adds Five More Titles

First off, the good news: Tomorrow, GameTap will be adding five more titles to its massive catalogue with these new additions: Metal Combat, Mr. Robot, Putter Golf, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Covert Ops Essential, Sub Hunt, and the arcade favorite, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike. With this week’s addition pushing the total number of free games to 71, the library at GameTap continues to expand and the rotating selection of completely free-to-play games includes huge fan-favorites like Psychonauts, Rogue Trooper, and Thief: Deadly Shadows.

Now for the bad news: In observance of the Christmas holiday, no new games will be released on Thursday, December 27th. The next GameTap catalogue update will take place on January 3rd, but don’t worry, they have so many games to keep you happy in the meantime that you will soon forget all about it.

Also be sure to check out December’s GameTap TV - Artist of the Month, Coheed & Cambria, with exclusive interviews and live performances. GameTap will also be adding Texas Hold ‘Em to its weekly rotation, bringing the total number of free games to 71.
