GameTap Thursday (er, um Friday): Puss in Boots Gets Grimm; Patrician III

Yay, woo hoo, horray!
Ok, I know, cut the bullcrap – we were a day late and a dollar short on it this week, but to make up for not giving you the GameTap goods per our usual Thrusday morning post, we are doing it today.
The week brings gold members of GameTap the latest episode from American McGeee’s Grimm, Puss in Boots. As usual, the episode was free for everyone the first 24 hours after release, but since we screwed up and forgot to tell you about it yesterday, you are s.o.l. on that one. Then again, if you are a subscriber to GameTap or have been playing Grimm you already knew this already.
Another game to hit this week for paid members is Patrician III, which is a medieval “tycoon” sort of game:
“Times change; money doesn’t. From the 14th to the 16th Centuries, the money was in the hands of the Hanseatic League, a guild of merchant princes who ruled the seas, the land, and the European economy. Starting as a lowly peddler, you build your trade empire and your prestige while battling rivals, pirates and cash flow. Succeed, and you’ll become a Patrician: the ultimate medieval tycoon.”
No new free games hit this week, but GameTap has 143 titles to choose from over on their site so I am sure something over there will tickle your fancy.
