GameStop Had A Massive Third Quarter

And yes I do mean MASSIVE. GameStop is one giant step closer to complete world domination. Gamasutra is reporting that GameStop made $1.6 Billion dollars in the third quarter of 2007, which is a 283% revenue increase. This has been an excellent quarter for the video game industry and I am sure that Halo 3, Guitar Hero 3 and other huge titles that hit shelves are the reason for this massive jump in revenue. 283% increase in revenue for a quarter is almost unheard of this year with the state of the economy. This is just another sign that video games are becoming the top form of entertainment in the world.
