GameStop Clerk Beaten for Video Games

You might want to think twice about working for a GameStop, at least if it’s in Redlands, California.
On Wednesday, a GameStop clerk was beaten up over two arm loads of video games which were shoved into a backpack and carried out the door by two African-American males, according to a recent story in The Redlands Daily Facts. The robbers walked into the store, appeared to be browsing, but then after one of them jumped over the counter and started punching the clerk in the face, it was obvious they were there for more than browsing.
This stings, on a personal note, because it happened in my hometown. I wonder if the clerk is going to quit?
Wow…sucks for him, I hope he didn’t drop any loot cause of that, would suck to lose your Tier 6 Armor from a dumb pvp attack like that.
Small shops are robbed for everything from condoms to jewelry every day. It’s a risk you take when you work for virtually any retail outlet these days. Although I’m not entirely sure why the race of the thieves is relevant.
yeah that’s what happens working retail. I worked as a late night 711 clerk once and I got robbed. Fortunately they were cool and let me walk outside and I just smoked cigarettes while they looted the store. I probably could have taken them out easily, but for 8 bucks an hour, i didn’t think it was worth the risk.

The other male was approximately 5 foot 8, nearly 200 pounds, wearing a dark shirt, dark jeans and a bandanna.”
