Gameplay Video of TrackMania DS in Action

Unlike the debut trailer for TrackMania DS, this one actually has some gameplay footage as well as a look at the track editor, multiplayer, and sharing capabilities. I wasn’t too sure about how the game would look after seeing the new screenshots, but when it’s in motion, it looks plenty good for a DS racing game that isn’t so much about cutting edge graphics as it is crazy tracks and driving as fast as you possibly can.
TrackMania DS‘ single-player mode has three modes and more than 100 tracks. And as the video shows, you can easily edit a track and hop right in to try it out. The game looks like a fairly promising translation of the PC games, so hopefully this does well and a PSP version won’t be too far behind.
Now, why is this age-gated? I mean, it didn’t stop me, but as far as I can tell, It’s got nothing that constitutes mature content.
This game is going to be awesome!
It does look insanely cool, and the gameplay footage is pretty nice! It looks like like the dev is using the DS hardware well.
Love it. Two words are enough.
