ghost Game Retrospective: Making Ghostbusters

Edge and Next Gen.biz have an interesting article detailing the development of the 1984 Commodore 64 classic Ghostbusters. While the game may predate many of the readers out there the article offers some interesting perspectives on how a game is made from a licence and just what decisions go into taking a film or book and creating an interactive game from it.

I have fond memories (being an old guy) of the Ghostbusters games and this piece brings back a little nostalgia – not enough for me to crack out the C64 emulator or anything, but it illustrates in many ways how little games have evolved since their infancy in the 80’s.
