Building on the success of its social networking site, Gaia Online is taking a step into the MMO field by opening the zOMG! Beta to the public. ZOMG! is a free to play, flash-based so it doesn’t require downloading a client. The game combines social networking with community activities and streaming music.
Gaia Online has a very well developed community with strong ties. I imagine Gaian’s that have been reading and creating artwork and stories about their world and avatars will find zOMG! a natural step to take into MMOs. Key features for zOMG! follow the break. Players can get into the beta from the Gaia Online zOMG! website.
