We reported earlier this week that 10-year old Ezra Chatterton, known to WoW players as Ephoenix was given the awesome opportunity to help Blizzard develop a character for World of Warcraft through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Diagnosed with metastatic cancer, his family is having some troubles with medical expenses, and now gamers and fans of WoW alike can help his family offset these costs with a fund created just for Ezra.

Ezra’s father wanted to let everyone know that he appreciates the support and good will that his son is receiving. As told to the OCRegister:
“Since Ezra’s headaches began, which was only two months ago, there have only been a few times where I have sensed that he was able feel contentment and peace, and to overcome the discomfort in his body. One of those moments was, as you can imagine, on the ride home from his wish trip. Another was yesterday, as his mother and I read letter after letter from WoW players and others across the globe who wanted to send their love. He sat back from his dinner in the bed and just smiled deep from his heart as we read him each of your messages. You gave him that smile, and I will always be thankful for thatâ€.
