Frontlines: Fuel of War Demo Now Available

The highly-anticipated Frontlines: Fuel of War – which will see a beta release on PC in the coming days – has a demo now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It’s an interesting take with a sort of sandbox-strategy element to the game.
The official description on the demo:
Frontlines: Fuel of War is an open-world First Person Shooter set on the frontlines of tomorrow. In a world ravaged by a global energy crisis, environmental decay, and economic depression, players assume the role of an elite soldier in the Western Coalition Army on an epic crusade against the Red Star Alliance to control the last of the world’s oil reserves. Frontlines: Fuel of War combines intensely cinematic, non-linear game play, with next generation weaponry and a revolutionary Frontline Combat System to deliver the most thrilling and engaging FPS to date.
That’s quite a tall claim. It’ll give you some food for thought while you wait for this monster 1.69 GB demo to download.
I been playing the closed beta for this (on PC mind you, the only way to play FPS’s imo) and it has a ton of potential. It was still riddled with bugs the last time i had a game though (about 2 weeks ago). Just hope they get the performace issues ironed out.
I tried to XBL demo last night and I wasn’t impressed. I’m hoping the PC beta changes my mind about this title, because at the moment, it ain’t looking good.

The game is out today and we shouldn’t expect demo till the 11th?
Demos should be released before the game itself and at LEAST when the game launches.
hawaiiandan do you remember the site you read that at? I’ve been looking for any kind of info and have come out empty handed. How about anyone else? You know of any links where info about a PC demo release can be found?

normally a demo would come out first…but when they dont its usually a bad sign that the game isnt ready yet and it isnt quite what they say it is. They want the revenue from the initial feeding frenzy to line their pockets with and not get any bad press from the demo bugs, not living up to expectations ect……

I was at Target this weekend (03/02/2008) they had PC version Frontlines: Fuel of War for $47.99. Want to check out the demo before I bought it though.
Same here, I want to try it before I buy it. Too many other good games still out there with demos available.
the game demo is ONLY on xbox 360 thought ive only played it whit a friend…

A quick check of a few well known electronics stores would have shown you the game has ALREADY been release for PC and is readily available for sale. BestBuy, Circuit City, Target, EB Games and others have it right now.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get people to quit spreading lies? Oh well, I think I’ve may have just won 1,000,000 from Publisher’s Clearing House…better go enter the contest right way!

I think it is pretty sad not to be able to download a demo on p.c. when if aperson has an x-box etc. they can do what they want . well i have no intention of running out and getting something like that just for the money hungry fools. you have enough already , so stop making things so hard for us poor p.c.ers.

i have the game it is great
but you may die a lot on a online match i was on a map and there was 50 of us the limit is 64 players.
