Battlefield Bad Company Video Blog

I’m starting to look forward to new videos from the Battlefield: Bad Company team, even when they don’t involve any actual game footage. Those guys just seem to have a quirky sense of humor. This “video blog,” for example, features a random soldier recording a tape to send home to his mother. Throughout the tape, he reveals that he’s, well, a moron that really likes to blow things up. For more bizarre humor from the Dice team, be sure to check out their last developer diary as well.

I’m looking forward to this although not as much as Battlefield 3 which is gonna use the same game engine.

I believe this particular Battlefield game is going to focus more on a better single-player experience since if you ever played any Battlefield game on the console, the single-player has really been lackluster. This would be a huge positive if they can have some kind of an interesting single-player to the already hugely popular and successful multiplayer experience.

This game is on my to-buy list. I knew it from the teaser first released ages back, even when I didn’t have a 360 then. PC players will moan, but big whoop, you’ll get the better BF3. Seeing as my PC can barely run 2142 as it is, BC looks to be great stuff which I’ll eagerely eat into.

Also, a smiley face pin on a grenade is win.
