FreeRealms Casual MMORPG Preview

FreeRealms is a new casual MMORPG from SOE that is geared toward young people, particularly young girls. WarCry has a preview of this free-to-play title.
The game features a Tamagotchi-like pet system as well as mini-games, arcade games and kid friendly combat. Collecting is emphasized and showing off these collections is also a big part of the game which features a Facebook like network that works through most of the popular web browsers.
Scarily enough, this reminds me of what my own girls like best about Neo-pets, Webkins, and the other sites they frequent. I’m not sure whether to point this out to them or lock them out lest they forget what the outdoors looks like. Check out the complete preview on the WarCry Network.
Umm… I don’t think that logo you’ve got is for SOE’s freerealms. Looks like it’s from some defunct (?) AD&D site…
