Free FPS Goodness in Warmonger Trailer

The word “free” tends to set off a timer in my brain that can focus my full, absolute attention for exactly ten seconds. Once that time has elapsed, I then judge whether the thing that is “free” is actually worth having for the low, low price of nothing. But occasionally, the tables get turned on me, and I already decide something looks to be worth a few bucks before I discover that it’s actually free. Such is the case with this trailer for Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction. For once, a FPS is claiming to change the genre up a bit and actually seems to deliver. Thanks to a new physics engine, all the environments are fully destructible. Basically, if your foe runs around a corner, you can blast away the walls to get to him. That’s sure to make for more than a few crap-your-pants moments if you’re the one being chased. That’s all interesting enough, but then you have to factor in the fact that the game is 100% free. Once the game goes live on October 16, you can download it at the official site and play to your heart’s content. If that isn’t a bargain, I don’t know what is.

They did this with Cell factor as well. Both games looked great but its just another reason to try to make you buy their physics card. I think most systems without this will run like shit like Cell factor did. But I am not saying all computers wont be able to run it I’m just saying this is what happened to most.
Lack of any…well, anything on the site is a bit disconcerting when it comes to system requirements, however, should my PC be able to run it, that’s definitely one to get. Looked awesome.
Now they just need to add gameplay like Gunz: The Duel’s
. That would make this game complete in my opinion
