In order to (presumably) celebrate, a free track pack for Guitar Hero III has been released featuring Dropkick Murphys. The pack consists of three songs: “Famous for Nothing,” “Flannigan’s Ball,” and ” Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya.”
While they’re missing my favorite Dropkick Murphys song – I’m Shipping Up To Boston – it’s still nice to see some new Guitar Hero content be released. And for free, to boot. I just wished I could’ve been rocking out to the best song from The Departed.
The DLC is now available on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store.

its only for xbox gold members currently
Yeah i figured as much… and if im correct.. by the time its.. *Not free anymore* Silver members should be able to pick it up.. since i think its only up till saint pattys day.
what a f*king ripoff
I don’t even see why they have Silver memberships anyway. A Gold membership is really a very cheap purchase.
Because some people like my self have no desire to use Xbox live.. as much as i love listening to a dozen 12 year olds make fart sounds for 30 mins in a game of Halo 3… i really dont.
You get to play 30 min matches on Halo 3? No fair, most of the matches I play only last around 15.
You can also mute offending gamers very simply. There’s also the option of auto-muting anyone not in your team or party. Sorry, but I don’t see the credibility of your complaint. If you don’t like Live, fine. But at least make a valid point.
