Hey wow, my customs showed up here! Actually I don’t sell them off at a premium, I start every auction at $1 regardless of what it cost me to make in time and money. Customizing is taking an existing figure and altering it to become an entirely different character usually. You can’t sculpt a figure from scratch and have it articulated/durable as a store bought figure, no matter what anyone tells you. That’s why customizers have to use base figures to start on, we don’t have the million dollar plastic injection factory machines and steel die cutters. I could sculpt a statue of Gordon Freeman, but then it’s just a statue and not an action figure, and where’s the fun in that? I wanted to make a Freeman that you could pose, and for that you need figure to start with.

There are people that create figures from scratch i.e. sculp their own figure with great results. So modifying existing figures and selling them off at a premium is kinda lame.

I’d feel sorry for Freeman if that is what his anatomy was actually like. Damn. Also, he’s doing a Superman with his underwear. Otherwise, classy.
