Forza 2 Downloadable Track Price Lowered

Earlier this week, I posted about the first downloadable track for Forza Motorsport 2, Twin Ring Motegi. It’s scheduled to hit today, and I noted the price of 600 Microsoft Points, or $7.50. While I didn’t make a big deal out of it in that story, plenty of Forza fans have been outraged with the high price. So much so, in fact, that it’s convinced Microsoft to drop the price of the track before it even was able to get comfy. 400 Microsoft Points is now the price in fake money; $5 in real currency.
According to Che Chou, Turn 10’s community manager, he was able to get the price dropped because of the increments that you need to buy Microsoft Points in. To buy something for 600 points, you’d have to buy 1,000 points ($12.50), while 400 points will only require you to buy 500 points.
The track should be available by now, so check out the Xbox Live Marketplace if you’re interested.
