A major upgrade for Forge of Freedom includes improvements to the game normally reserved for an expansion pack and can be applied to all versions of the game. This American Civil War strategy game has had all known issues fixed, including a retreat bug and a few interface bugs. Seven new game options have been added, unit history, battle history and animated battle overview are now available, along with replay function for PBEM games. Combat, Diplomacy, and Sieges have more options; attrition and disease are now more realistic as well. The Generals database is now accurate and 175 historical biographies have been added for Generals on both sides.
