StarCraft II continues the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. I didn't know Azeroth existed in the Starcraft universe. Moreover I really didn't realise it was even in the same galaxy, so to speak.

Why are they still showing the Tauren Marrine pics?

Well, just like Wc3, they implemented the joke characters as usable in the custom campaign. So similar to the Panda, the Tauren is going to stay in the game.
