Football + Michael Jackson = Madden 08

Football fan? Video game fan? Football video game fan? I’m sure we can all agree that the last great football video game was Tecmo Bowl, which is why you haven’t bought your copy of Madden 08 yet. Well, I’ve got a couple of bits of news for you.
1. You can play the demo now on Xbox Live, so if you’re hemming and hawing over whether you really need to buy the latest iteration of this played-out franchise, then you can sample the goods yourself and make up your own freakin’ mind. Note that you can only play a short rematch of Super Bowl XLI, the 13th greatest Super Bowl of all-time, between the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears.
2. You can moonwalk. Just like the 1990 Sega game. A bug in Madden 08 will cause your QB to moonwalk right off the field while all the other players essentially act as backup dancers by running around like those proverbial chickens with their proverbial heads cut off. Seeing this takes effort, as you need to use a specific play with a specific formation.
Electronic Arts will be releasing a patch, but that just spoils the fun of a good glitch.
