We have obtained more information regarding the Master Chief statue that was in development at Madame Tussaud’s studios in London. Apparently, the 7-foot-2 statue will be unveiled in Las Vegas tomorrow as the first video game character to grace the hallowed halls of the 250 year-old museum with Xbox 360 representatives and an unnamed celebrity guest attending the event. Halo 3 will be released on September 25th, so this news is proof that the hype is just about to start – get ready people!

Why would they choose Master Chief over more well-known characters? A lot of people know about Master Chief, but Mario is way more well-known than him.
Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog FTW!
how much did this cost microsoft?
Any dollar amount would be considered pocket change when it comes to hype. The first footprint in the marketplace, any marketplace, has the opportunity to make up the rules. This may be chalked up to a media coup, but it makes an impression in the community nonetheless.
I mean, seriously, what’s better than collecting all of your HALO action figures than seeing a 7 foot 2 inch replica of Master Chief?
It makes me want to get out my 20 year old GIJoe Figures and go play in my sandbox…
