Flaming Helmets Spotted in Halo 3

A number of people are reporting seeing flaming helmets adorning some players heads in multiplayer Halo games. Of course this sparks questions about how you can get one of these Ghost Rider-esque visages for yourself. Unfortunately, the only way you could even have a shot at getting one is to send a resume to Bungie. That’s right, there’s no achievement or Gamerscore you could get get for this one. It’s only available to Bungie employees. Hopefully they’ll start offering such cool armor as downloadable content. Still, rest assured that when you see a team of opponents with their heads on fire, you’re in for some pwnage.

well icarus i dont think you checked the times they put there messages up. autrix02 put his up that his 360 was broke on november 28 at 4:11. and then dantesfirearm challenges him november 28 at (4:32). then autrix02 talks aobut challenging him about 3 or 4 days later. so actually you know about as much as everyone else, NOTHING! so he actually could have the armor or he may not, no one knows.

You know that eventually som1 at bungie will leak, right? When they do it’ll be just like the IWHBYD Skull, everyone scrambles for it and it’s no longer a rarity. For the record, DriZz is SiK, Hi im cooter, and I were aome of the top ten people to get the Hayabusa (regular) helmet. Now, if there’s one armor set I want, I’ts the entire Recon Armor set.

You don’t have to fight someone to get the samuri helmet or whatever it’s called, hayabusa or something. You unlock it by getting the I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull (IWHBYD). I have no Idea about the flaming part but I do know that everyone I have seen who has them sucks. Same with the samuri armore and the katana, they all suck, and if it was easy to get a flaming helmit then everyone would have one and it would suck. Games would be filled with flaming heads and people would say “WTF is up with all the flaming heads”. It would ruin the entire gaming experience. If you have a flaming helmit or a katana or the samri helmit and you think you don’t suck then go ahead and play me. My gamertagis AlienSloth Man. I’m only a sargent second class but I havent played many games. I have still kicked commanders asses.

The xbox 360 is so much worse then what it is advertised to be AND the “ELITE” which is better then the fiRSt is still a 360 everybody must know the truth microsoft is racking up cash and more cash from everyone. Think about it why do it revert to the red rings after it crashes it has to be programed in or it wouldnt be able to do that. I have been on google a lot the past week lookink about the recon armour and the flaming helmut and i see there is some sort of proof and that bungie says it is only avilible to bungie employes but mabye just mabye if you beat the game on all dificulties get all skulls all terminal Katana (1000 gamer points)
and at least on of every medal in the medal chest you might be able to get the flaming helmut. Now regarding the recon premutation i know one person that has gotten this by snipeing someone by shooting at a traffic cone and the bounceing off and hitting the person in the head. Please do not leave comments saying that it is BS because i saw it.
Now anyone that claims they have it might be telling the truth but they might not be. i think most are lieing but if you r not y would u not tell how to get it or give it away to friends. I would really like to get the flames. If anyone would be willing to make good friends or invite me to there clan i would apreciate it very much. I have been playing halo scince halo 1 came out and got halo 2 limted edition and halo 3 legendary addition at 12:00 at night. I am not bad i am very good and i would really like the flaming helmet and a ligit clan

Read the posts above and then tell me with a straight face that they were all made by Bungie employees. Now that we’ve cleared that up, Bungie posted the only way a non-employee was going to get the helmet on their weekly updates a while ago. That would be when they hand it out for reasons known only to them, like contributions to the online community, or a great clip or in-game pic, or Foundry variant. Still don’t understand how my other post should qualify me as an ASS or an asshole, but who am I to question the wisdom of an anonymous poster ?

No need to scream autrix02(in reference your Caps), but I play often with a bunch of people who have all the skulls and achievements, etc… My reference to lies was to an earlier poster who claimed you would get it if you beat him. Sorry you felt either you or headshot were the intended targets. I could say something about if the shoe fits… but that would just upset you into posting more profanity on my behalf. I still have yet to see a gamertag on Bungie.net that was able to lock down visible ranks and would enjoy having someone post the link so I could verify it. Now why should I think about one of your theories when you don’t even bother to look at an informative link posted to help you see the truth ?
Well, I have thought about it anyway, giving you the benefit of doubt that you don’t wish to give me. You are correct, there are many easter eggs in many games. But, that Flaming Helmet is still a Bungie only thing(as in employee or handed out by them), and not available in the game as an unlockable. Sorry to burst your bubble.
