Flaming Helmets Spotted in Halo 3

A number of people are reporting seeing flaming helmets adorning some players heads in multiplayer Halo games. Of course this sparks questions about how you can get one of these Ghost Rider-esque visages for yourself. Unfortunately, the only way you could even have a shot at getting one is to send a resume to Bungie. That’s right, there’s no achievement or Gamerscore you could get get for this one. It’s only available to Bungie employees. Hopefully they’ll start offering such cool armor as downloadable content. Still, rest assured that when you see a team of opponents with their heads on fire, you’re in for some pwnage.

Flames are always cool.
However, am I the only one who doesn’t like that unlockable head piece? Shoulders look cool, but the helmet is a put off. Besides, yesterday, I went on Live playing as an Elite and, I think Bungie did this on purpose because they knew less people would play as one, but, their armour totally rocks.

i have versed 2 people with the flamig helmets and i m sorry to say that if they are true bungie employees that is sad because i beat them on a free for all match. and yes i do have a life i am just really good at halo 3

i think thats cool but its not fair that bungie employees can only get it. if they can get it, we all should get it

you are all stupid, first, bungie employees spent years making a famous, perfect video game series, so they diserve something people can be jelous of. second, it says on this article that only bungie employees can have it, so i don’t think you can get it unless you illigaly edit the game.

That helment looks fucking sweet i want it but i have not yet to get the kantana i need 4 more achievements to get it, its not fair that only the bugie people get it we all need to be able to get it. they need to put more avalible armor on xbox live marketplace so we can have more this armor is getting old people are going to start gitting boured of it and stop playing (and more ranks) but yea that helment is fuckin SWEEEET!!!!!
to get the flaming helment you need to beet some one who has it a number of times i don’t know how many times but my friend has it and he told me and i almost beet him so if there is a easyer way tell me please p.s. he won’t let me beet him and he is a comander and i’m a sergent grade two and lost to him by one point so yah there you go

I have all the skulls and the hayabusa armor, but still no god damn helmet. I think you either need to work at Bungie, or defeat someone who has the helmet. My friend is a Colonel, thats the highest, and he has the helmet, but he won’t tell me how he got it
