Five New Random Rock Band Tracks This Week

The new Rock Band downloadable content that Steve posted about earlier is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, although PS3 owners will have to wait a week, as there won’t be a PlayStation Store update tomorrow.
Each track will run you just 80 Microsoft Points, which is much cheaper than the usual price point on individual Rock Band tracks. There are no bundles available, but this is about as cheap as new Rock Band music is going to get.
The lineup includes a cover of “Song With a Mission,” which was made famous by The Sounds, “Move Along” by All-American Rejects, “Dirty Little Secret” by All-American Rejects, “The Kill” by 30 Seconds to Mars, and “Attack” by 30 Seconds to Mars.
Early on it seemed like Rock Band downloadable content was going to be specific to a certain artist each release, but Harmonix seems to have strayed from that. Which method do you prefer?

I’d like to see more band-oriented packs. For that matter, I’d like to see more packs, less singles.
I talked my band mate into getting the kill.
I like just singles, because then you can pick and choose what you want.
what if they bundled them and you thought “Dirty Little Secret” by All-American Rejects was the stupidest crap ever and didn’t want to have it and wouldn’t play it, then you’d be boned.
I think it’s better to have singles, like in iTunes.
Why buy the whole album when you only want 1 song?
I definitely prefer singles. So far, their song choices in the packs have been questionable.. they are certainly not throwing in the best songs from the various bands. It seems there’s always one song in each pack that I don’t particularly care for.
